It was a long time since i wrote anything!! Trip to Tioman was fun and relaxing which i enjoyed very much personally. Cutting yourself away from the known world for a few days was indeed rewarding. After weeks of fyp and months of mental torture, the trip really recharged my mental state of mind known as the brain.
Although school was hectic but it has all come to an end after 2 years and we'll be graduating this coming wednesday. Applied for some of the jobs and got called up for some interviews but some of the companies didn't even reply. It is very discouraging but on a happier note it also means that i get to relax and rest for a longer period of time. =)
However, one must not slacken during the rest period. If not, the lazy bug will kick in and it will be the end of YOU!! Thanks to gab for introducing me to work in the Korean restaurant. It was fun and the people there are quite nice. However, the restaurant is closing down soon.. It is kinda sad as the dishes were cooked by an authentic korean auntie.. she's leaving due to a dispute with the boss (i think). Time to look for another job!!
Learnt a bit on the culture of eating korean food. There are so many sauces which go with so many different kinds of foods. I also learnt that koreans like to eat soupy stuffs. They like to add soup/tea into their rice to make it taste like porridge. They also like to add those salty sauces into their beancurd.. *yucks* It was kinda an eye opener and their food was like so super spicy. About 60% of their food was added with chilli powder or spice of the same sort. They provide meals for their staff and after eating their food, my tongue really got burnt. =x
Although i learnt to appreciate that bit about korean food but i still do not really like it. However, one exception is the kimchi.. it has a weird taste but when you eat in the long term, it kinda taste pretty awesome. Their culture of eating is interesting but i can't seem to really eat it in the long term..
All the best to all peeps/classmates looking for jobs at the moment and in the meantime remember to relax and enjoy as the next step towards working life would be a long one.
