as usual, everybody goes outfield and the remaining of us 'retired' specs get to stay back to look after the coy line.. played monopoly, risk and watched movies.. music and lyrics, lake house, 50 first dates..
i don't know man.. i just like to watch the lovey dovey shows.. because they're just so full of emotions, cool plot and has a happily ever after ending..
music and lyrics was more of composing a song between the guy and girl.. it becomes a hit but the song was for another star bigger than christina and britney on the show.. and the song's tune was changed to the indian kind of music and that's when the problem comes in.. the guy suck it up and though the hindi version of the song sounded kinda weird, he didn't voice out because he was a 'has-been' star in the 80's so he wanted the song to help him get a boost for his career while the girl wanted to retain the original tune and in the end they got together and the guy kind of sacrifaced his big break and told the star that the original was better and in the end it wasn't changed to the indian version like the sun yanzi's song.. haha.. ya know.. that kind of music..
lake house was more of a time machine show.. he was in 2004.. she was in 2006.. they got into contact with each other via the lake house's letter box.. the letters kinda travel through time to reach one another.. kinda painful for them as they could only keep in contact via the letterbox but they just couldn't see each other.. so, in the 2006 timeline of the guy, he went to find the girl on valentine's day as she told him before in one of their letter conversations where she would be but the girl in the 2008 timeline knew that he would die being knocked down by a bus as she was the doctor on the scence trying to resuscitate him in her 2006 timeline 2 years back.. so she sped to the lake house in year 2008 to write a letter to him whereby he was in 2006 to not come find her, if not he would die.. she told him to meet 2 years later in year 2010 at the lake house.. and when both their timelines integrated in the year 2010, they finally found each other.. cool!!
50 first dates was another funny one.. the least boring and the most funny amongst the 3.. guy likes girl but she can't remember him due to a short-term memory condition from a car accident.. so they got together nonetheless.. but it was kinda painful for the girl as she needs to cry one time everyday knowing bout her condition through a video tape made by her husband.. imagine, ya gotta add on all the new stuffs to the tape for your spouse just to make him/her remember you and everything after the accident to the present..
oh ya, caught another one in the theatres this week.. the leap years.. ok la.. it's a nice show.. quite funny as well.. enjoyed it.. from the title i guess everybody knows what's it about.. about a girl and a guy that meets every 4 years on february 29th.. and omfg, guess what.. 2 complete strangers whereby ya only know the other person's name meet every 4 years for 4 consecutive cycles.. that's 12 years mind ya!! through many arduous obstacles and stuff they got together la..
so all i wanted to say is that.. don't need to be so dumb like the show, right?? is it that hard to leave your msn, email or phone no.? see la.. waste 12 years just trying to be romantic.. hahaha!! and in the show, it was said that there was a tradition in Ireland that women had to wait too long for men to propose. According to the legend, Saint Patrick said any females yearning for a proposal could ask the guys instead on February 29th. and if the guys refuse, they would have to pay a fine!! so amusing.. imagine the guy would rather pay a fine, then the girl very paiseh.. haha..

well, just what can i say?? it just pains me to see ya like this.. when ya felt terrible and all i could do was to watch ya go through the uncomfortable ordeal.. fortunately i'm glad i was there for ya, to do what i could.. i always will be there and i hope ya know that!! hope ya felt better!!
dunno why got this weird feeling.. why will feel like that?? was the regret so deeply etched that i just can't seem to forget? i guess some stuffs won't be so easily forgotten and some words just can't seem to come out.. sighz.. gonna book in soon.. damn early!! need to help the guys prepare vehicles.. will be back soon!!

OMFG!! i finally did it.. after 4 previous attempts i finally passed my driving test.. i knew this time it was different.. the feeling was different, test route was different and everything was different.. screwed up a little bit in the warm up.. was a bit demoralised, then we were told to sit in the waiting room and wait for like 30 mins!!
i felt that this 30 min was the key to success for my test yesterday.. i did some pep-talk to myself.. saying.. can't fail anymore, fail somemore going to reach 4000$ le.. and also that time i never pass, ah ma never got to sit the car i drove so i MUST pass this time round so at least ah gong can get a chance to sit in it on behalf of ah ma~
then came the balloting and i got test route 4.. well, it was kinda an easy route which nears my maternal gramps house.. so i was quite familiar with it.. just that the place a lot of pedestrians.. but there were no other vehicles so i drove very smoothly.. the usual humps, right turns and stuffs.. not like the previous times i damn suay and always get the teck whye route whereby i failed!!
i only minus 2 points in the circuit!! the slope la.. kan chiong so roll down a bit.. lucky i step brake.. now i get what my friends always say to encourage me.. when ya drive properly inside, ya'll get more confidence to drive properly outside.. and outside i minus 14 due to some mirrors, checking of blind spots and some change lanes error.. all small errors and it didn't hit 20.. so that means i pass!! =p
so excited when i got up the room and the tester said i PASSED!! omg.. i was smilin from ear to ear man.. dunno how to describe that.. it's like better than winning lottery and medals!! and i'll get the 'arhm chioh' symptom for the next week whereby you'll just smile and laugh out of the blue.. not forgetting laugh or smile in your sleep also.. my bmt mate told me this that time when i was still taking driving lessons..
wanna thank my parents for their constant encouragement, Peter for his reverse psychology to make me pass saying after i pass all the kids crossing the roads should be doubly careful, guan tat, Han Soon, Boon Kai and Soon Heng for believeing in me, my pc for telling me to drive well if not sign extra (clubbing extra), other mates who were silently praying and cheering me on!! thanks for all that!!
above all that, i was supposed to go outfield next week.. but my name got off the list so get to slack in camp with a few platoon mates.. what a week!! WooHoo..

omg.. the csm strikes back!! guess we really did piss him off this time and he's gonna make us sign extras liao!! but come to think of, it was his unreasonable personailty and arrogance that make us so sick of him and kinda ignore him.. he printed the whole informal punishment thingy as a warning to prevent us from commiting mistakes such as failure to pay compliments, failure to do this and that, etc..
and he's kinda a wily and sly guy.. interviewing the men about us, commanders and then when they said only good things, he said they were so dead wrong.. don't know where he got the information from and he kinda put those words into my men's mouths.. saying, glenn chaokeng, ck everytime nowhere to be found and me easily psychoed.. haha.. guess i maybe too nice but i demand standard also.. my guys know that.. if he said i'm a psycho then i think that's more true!!
it's really war le!! RAW is WAR!! he's really a 'xiao ren'.. commented my guys were fat as pigs and disrupted our peace in camp.. can't believe that's still such people in this world.. really i can't even respect him as a person but i have to suck thumb and no choice 'respect' his rank.. anyway, the rank can be bought in the e-mart with credit.. so rank's nothing worth mentioning la.. :p the remaining 2 months would be hard to go through.. we've decided to note down in a diary all the bad things he's done to us and when before we go, we're gonna hand it over to the higher authorities to settle it..
finally, the long waited anticipating driving test is here again.. this fri i'm gonna try again!! i'm sure i gonna do it.. all the best to me!!
