nothing much this week!! everybody went outfield except us.. pretty shiok!! stayed back to touch up our vehicle though.. now they're slightly in a much better condition..
other than that, i've signed up for inter-formation rugby competition.. playing for armour la.. time to crash, smash and run!! alright.. last year got third.. this year think can do well also because my sp team mate, shawn is also playing!! cool la.. so i think it'll be much more fun since there's somebody i knew..
2 more weeks to chinese new year.. bought some new clothing.. everlast shirt, new pair of jeans, some t-shirts.. well, i'm still short of a nice pair of shoes and long sleeved collared shirt!! gotta go get them in the upcoming week..
well, nothing much to write bout.. still a bit confused and vague what i wanna do in future!! think gotta apply for uni again.. feb 1st.. and thanx mrs ngan for writing such a good testimonial for my university registration.. i wonder how she wrote until so god-like while my results are quite shitty..

what a terrible week this is.. in addition to the monday's blues, got to know another bad news la.. i'm selected for standby.. arghz.. don'y know why so suay.. draw lots still can get me.. out of 10 peeps, i'm the last to be selected out so i gotta do it, i guess..
seems like i won't get to spend my february in peace!! i will get free metal plated body armour and a pager.. and if activated, i gotta fly back to camp to prepare for all the stuffs to deter any thingy during the month.. but usually it's just a turn out to test our readiness.. saded.. =(
i was so down til i never talked for like 2 hours, didn't eat a lot for lunch but later i thought it through and found that it might not be that bad, they might not call you back too.. guess they don't wanna go back during the chinese new year as well.. and besides me, there's also other people who can't go back on the new year so i guess i'm pretty much lucky la.. so it made me felt kinda better..
and that's not just it!! my csm has changed.. arghz!! a guy from training school before he came.. so it's like he's kinda strict.. area cleaning non stop.. very clean le still need to clean.. stand by area til dam late.. never had this kinda thingy for so long before.. seems like everybody is not very happy in the company line nowadays.. all would prefer the old csm to be back though sometimes we're not happy with him as well..
people are always like this.. people compare.. people or rather human beings are 'fan jian' one.. when some stuffs are gone, they would regret not cherishing and treasuring it.. when the stuffs are usually around, nobody bothers to give a shit about it!! so i guess that's human nature.. =/
i just hope there isn't that much a turn-outs and i can spend my february in peace.. oh ya, other than chinese new year, valentines' day is also in the month of february.. it's also known as friendship day!! so anybody wanna have dinner with me on that day?? well, think better not.. later they activate me then i gotta leave like super hero answering the call to save those in trouble.. then, my date woule be like so alone.. haha..

camp is just so boring!! everything's back from aussie.. time to start cleaning!!! clean this, clean that.. wash this and that.. felt like a full time cleaner!! basically that's what we've been doing for the past week..
anyway, i applied for the new south wales uni for my course in the aussie university open house.. the professor was very impressed with yh and my results, with a gpa of 3.4.. i didn't expect it to be that good.. thought it was just like a low 3.. he said we gurantee plus chop 100% will get in and other than that, a 2 year exemption as a bonus.. he said my results only shone in the later years in poly and i know i screwed up pretty bad in the first year!! =/ anyway, i applied just for the fun of it.. i don't think i'll be getting my ass to australia..the fees are kinda expensive, ya.. 24k per year and it's like not inclusive of living expenses.. i don't wanna burden my parents.. if i were to go, i think i will have to find some means to go there myself or borrow loans ba..
i really wanna study this course!! guess i will have to try the NUS 1 again.. too bad only 40 spaces.. and i would have to vie for it with the dragon poly peeps (again!!) plus the remaining jc peeps.. now that's kinda a challenge..
woohoo!! anyway.. 4 more months and counting before i O-R-D.. wa, the more i countdown the slower the day will come.. sianz.. already thinking what jobs to do before going back to study again!! really looking forward to going back to a nice decent school again..

2007 gone.. the fully anticipated 2008 is finally here!! alright!! 2008 comes mean i'm nearing to my O-R-D date once again.. and i' so sure that 2008 would be a much much better year compared to this year with all the disasters, bombings and the price hike in so many shit.. thanx to everybody for your new year wishes!!
went to eat at waraku yesterday before going around to find minds' cafe.. the japanese cuisine one was okay.. next must try the pasta one.. that one looks even more tempting.. afterwhich, we advanced to minds' cafe but nobody knows where it's situated so we went around in circles in clarke quay for 1 hour before heading the correct way towards boat quay and reach our destination.. good exercise i should say.. haha..
played a few cool games such as snorta!, taboo, uglydoll and etc.. lots of fun games there.. really enjoyed myself very much.. now let's let the pics do the talking!!

so that's the end of 2007 and fresh start to year 2008!! went to play mahjong at kok leong's house la.. tried to make some nice cards but didn't play money so anyhow play.. play drink water la.. it was quite a funny affair and there was even louder laughters than the peeps on the next table that are playing with money!!
wait, wait!! new year resolutions!! all right.. the first is to O-R-D in one piece.. second, is to pass my driving!! (wa.. i like take super duper long liaoz)
Next, is to be bigger, stronger and not forgetting being slightly more wise for the studies world soon!!

eh, still got some more.. that's to be more environmental conscious.. no more sharks' fin for me.. also will try to influence others to not take global warming for granted.. my platoon mates called me a 'tree-hugger' when i told them to turn off the fans and lights when they're not using it.. but i don't care what they say and still gotta take my stand and be an mini-environmentalist by doing my little bit for the blue planet..
of course not forgetting to look for a soul mate out there.. that'll stop my grams and mom from pestering me!! =/ embrace the great year ahead with open hearts!! =)
