school was as busy as usual.. more pracs, studies and the forever piling work.. that's why i never got much time to write what happened in school recently.. since dr love left for new zealand, came a new professor, Professor Geoff Jameson.. he's a damn smart man and he can answer almost any questions you shoot him.. really enjoyed what he taught us though i only understood about 40% of what he said most of the time..
he said he would love to try and eat other weird stuffs in singapore such as durian and century eggs.. so i went to bugis to get him some and it was kinda a weird experience when you bring durians up the bus.. the smell is so pungent and everybody would be pinching their noses.. haha!! the people must be cursing who the hell brought up the durians.. fortunately never got chased down the bus.. and i'm not gonna do that a second time..
here are some durian feast pics!!

dr tay and us opening the durians..
dr tay and Prof Jameson enjoying his durian..
who say ang moh scared of durian?? he loved it so much in the end, he said he'll be back to eat more the next time he comes to singapore.. haha!!
anyway, prof Jameson is a very nice person but when you make him dulan, he'll really fight back.. another of my professors, associate professor dave harding came by to disturb when prof jameson was teaching us practicals.. he kept saying the physical chemistry prof jameson was teaching is not the real chemistry and all the stuffs to run him down.. so prof jameson strikes back!! and here's what he have to say to prof harding's organic chemistry..
organic chemistry=WHOREganic chemistry.. lolx.. =x
watched Wall-e with my classmates after my test day.. it was a pretty good show.. telling us what would happen in the near future if we didn't take care of Gaia, Mother Earth.. other than that, it shows love can also exists between non living machines!! damn cute and funny..
unwinding is so important after so many long hours in school.. went clubbing and didn't get to drink much.. sighz..
group pic!! access denied into phuture.. kinda bored at zouk.. =/
mooncake festival just passed and it was kinda special this year.. i never celebrated it in recent years since like primary school or secondary school.. learnt how to make mooncakes last friday and my class all went to east coast to cycle.. anyway, i suck at cycling so i stayed back in school at my old work place to make mooncakes.. soooo fun la.. better than colliding and crashing onto other people in east coast..
other than that, on the actual day, up we went to the southern ridges to do some moon watching, carry laterns, play sprakles and etc.. the view up there was pretty good!! i lived so near it and i see it everyday and now i finally knows how the view looks like from up there.. i could spot my room from the tall bridge.. so cool!! and here are some pics!!
this's not from the bridges but from central.. they have nice and bright latern figures there..
the lanterns we lighted up!!
sliding down.. the design of the bridges are so bent..
the sparkles.. see my chopstick to the right.. =p
nice colour combi of the lanterns.. so innovative of us to hang it there for deco.. =)

other than that, we were pretty amused by the bubble blowing whereby we made weird looking faces!! damn funny!! >_<
some of the spaces have little headroom so must be careful not to hit your head on the bridges..
had lotsa fun in the past few weeks despite my flow of piling work.. but i really gotta start studying now.. exams coming in 2 weeks' time.. 50% of prof jameson's physical chemistry and 50% of prof dave harding's organic chemistry.. gotta read up and prepare for the big exams!!
i am so "loving" WHOREganic chemistry.. >_<
