passed my advanced theory (again!!) a second time.. not that i failed my first attempt.. i passed mine the first time two years ago.. just that it is kinda expired after 2 years le.. that means i took 2 years for 4 tries of practical test.. think i'm the only idiot in singapore to need to take it 2 times because the validity of the advanced theory expired.. =/ well, do not fear, my dear dad's car!! march 7th (that is if i pass..) will be the day i become a real hazard in the roads.. all should watch out for that..
nothing much in camps nowadays other than it's the holidays season!! clearing my leave from the 18th to the end of the year.. shiok.. previously kinda helped out in the men's parade as armoured troopers.. shiong for them though as when the parade commences, rain started to fall and they were drenched like dunno what.. nontheless, they made it through and off home we went on a late saturday evening.. =/
been resting at home and gyming the whole week.. other than games, movies, videos and finding nice bands to listen, i've been reshuffling my thoughts.. the no. 1 thingy currently is what should i study?? i wanna do food science but it's kinda hard to get into the nus 1.. overseas study?? hm.. i think i'll miss out on a lot of stuff back home.. study some other stuff other than food?? i'll be forcing myself to take up something which i don't wanna do.. it will be the same as taking something just for the sake of entering university..
the best option is to wait for sp to set up a degree course with massey university from new zealand.. but god knows when it'll be set up.. well, only time will tell what i'll do.. currently, these are just some facts done from my analyzing..
Read from shumin's bloggie the other time, without a gf/bf, life still goes on and it's not like there's something lacking in life.. and the way that i'm living had been great for the past 21 years.. maybe i'm missing out on something good out here but it's still time for other more important stuff..

didn't update much for the last 2 weeks.. was enjoying my 1 week of leave since coming back from Australia.. stayed at home most of the time to rest.. there was kinda a jet lag for the first few days whereby i would feel like sleeping when it's near 9pm and i would wake up at 5 plus in the mornings.. but after a while the jet lag subsided so my biological clock was tuned back to normal..
went out to see what has changed in singapore.. well, nothing much.. besides what major changes could happen in the 1 month when i was away.. other than the newly constructed bridge linking the telok blangah hill park, mount faber and kent ridge park was progressing towards the finish line.. and i could see it slowly finishing from my window..
met up with the mortar platoon to have dim sum buffet at red star.. remembered that the dim sum was damn good when i was a kid.. i used to go there so often.. but the standard kinda dropped la.. the teahouse dim sum and yan palace ones were much much better.. went to try out jonathan's dad's bak chor mee stall and it was damn good!! chewy noodles and well marinated mushrooms.. makansutra gave it a 6 chopsticks rating and it was maxed out 6/6!!

other than that, also met up with sec sch peeps for qiuyin's surprise b'dae celebration at hollad village~~ had some drinks and bought her a cake.. hope she liked it.. and here are some pics..

went back to camp and there wasn't much to do.. 'cause our vehicles are still in the midst of transporting back.. lessons for the troopers and nothing much.. checked that all my leaves have been approved!! well.. almost all.. some of the days weren't approved though.. but it's okay.. i will not be in camp from the 19th to the start of next year.. :B
went for cohesion in sentosa last fri with the mortar peeps.. had fun playing soccer, volley ball and touch rugby.. in the evening went to see matt's singing performance.. well, it's actually a song writing competition.. so those peeps whose original song's good will get selected to perform in front of the judges..
he wrote the tune and melody of the song while the lyrics were penned by a gal from taiwan.. during the performance, he was the key boardist while another friend of his was the singer.. and guess what.. he won the best lyrics award.. and the prize was 500$ and a keyboard from creative.. damn cool la..
met up with pri school peeps on that sat.. went to watch the golden compass.. alright.. kinda like a fantasy, magical show out from a story book.. (again!! seems like the in thing in making movies nowadays..) watch out for the trilogy like the lord of the rings..
the ice bear damn cool la.. so big and strong!!
went to play mahjong at jm house and i won 10$ la.. ok, it's not about the winnings but i tell ya.. mahjong is damn fun.. keeps you thinking and at the suspense whether ya'll throw the wrong card and other people game! or you'll be so excited and be kept at the edge of your seat waiting for somebody to throw your card and you game also!! or you can pick cards and finally the one that you've been waiting for comes to ya.. then you GAME!! haha.. damn fun.. :D
watched a couple of movies at home nowadays.. Step Up was okay, 881 was nice and super size me tells us all a lesson.. CUT down on that fastfood!! not forgetting good luck chuck.. damn amusing and hilarious.. HAHA.. going back to camp again tonight.. when i'm back again, you won't see me in camp again til next year.. =p
