getting busy over the last week.. prepared for the men's trade course pop parade.. it's like they're getting their black beret after learning how to drive their respective tanks.. though it was tough organising the event but it was all worthwhile for them and us as well.. i bet they'll be so proud of their beret..

speaking of which.. i kinda forgot the specialist creed when my sergeant major asked me if i remembered it.. well, it's a creed you recite when you become a sergeant or a specialist.. it was kinda embarassing.. but well, now i remember it and here's how it goes..

was a freaking long week.. because previously had so many offs and leaves.. a bit unused to staying back in camp for the whole week.. back directly and i've got duty.. cos duty to be precise.. the guy who did the job previously kinda never did some stuffs and the taking over wasn't that smooth.. but in the end it was okay.. i feel all should do their work properly so when the next guy takes over the job from you, there would not be that much problem.

after the night in the office, was damn sick.. both nostrils were blocked, damn dry throat.. in the end go report sick.. gave me some medicine and i was feeling better by the minute.. it was the same doc who treated my ear that time.. found out that, he's a nsf not a regular.. and draws a pay of 1900$ per month.. heard he finished his 3 months in tekong, then went to medicine school to study on his own expense then went to ocs for officer course and became a captain or rather a doctor.. can realise his own dreams and yet serve his national duty.. cool.

nights off were used to go to woodlands to eat.. and sometimes to catch a quick movie.. blades of glory is dang funny.. GO AND WATCH.. you don't know what ya're missing out on. HAHA.. other than that, sometimes we also stayed back to play soccer.. played goalkeeper and my favourite left flank.. let in some goals, saved some goals, created some goals and scored some as well.. it was damn funny.. the ball seemed to love my head that day.. hit on the heaad like 3 to 4 times.. once during a friend doing a throw in and the others were shots which i was trying to save. long time since we play til so fun and everybody laughing out loud as if it was a comedy show..

then it was book out time.. off home i went.. what did i do in the weekends.. slept the whole day due to the flu.. watched man u vs chelsea.. chelsea won.. dammit.. went to eat prata with the guys in the wee hours of the morning.. and also went to west coast park to play the obstacles.. the spinning around machine which all of us hung on to made us groggy and sick in the stomach.. in the end drove home to sleep..

sometimes i feel, i laugh more in camp than in the outside world.. what is happening.. i thought it was supposed to be the other way round.. it seems like now the outside world is less fun and happy than it's supposed to.. maybe the real world is boring.. we'll see more of that when we go out to work next time.. that's kinda sad.. or maybe i'm just too free and needs some cute or hot chick to just come and disturb me once in a while.. haha..=p

it was a damn long and tiring week.. was guard 2ic on labour day.. exchanged camp passes for those cooks in our cookhouses and people who are doing repair or touch up works.. other than that, nothing much.. though i kinda pity my prowlers and sentry guards.. because they were turned out 7 to 9 times.. my guard comm is a bit mad though.. that's kinda too much.. and the turn out included the bcct shit whereby we had to swing the weapon and scream aggresively.

i was kinda pissed because gotta come back to do guard when i was enjoying my long holiday last week.. but come to think of it.. there's off for me so it's not so bad.. guess what i'm on duty again on thursday which was 2 days after i was guard 2ic.. don't know how they planned the duty list.. it was kinda unfair sometimes.. the frequency of people performing duties was higher though there were lots of people serving extras. no choice, still gotta do.. there was a lot of problems too when i was doing the cos..

my fellow mates can't book out due to some unsettled stuff in the armskote and in the end they stayed back in the office to watch movie with me.. they ordered pizza and ate with me as well.. nice pals there.. memorable cos duty as they said.. so many people to accompany me.. haha.. borat is dam funny.. all should watch it.. like it a lot.. HahAHA..

went to watch spiderman on the weekends.. it's such a damn nice show.. it was better than i expected.. less action and the battle scenes came later in the end.. but this time, it was more on storyline.. the problems faced by each character.. and how they got to find a solution to the problem.. the ending was cool and i like it to the bits.. a bit deviated from the comics but it's still good nonetheless.. the friendship of peter and harry was so deep that it was kinda sad when he died while shielding his good'o buddy. i also learnt that everybody has a dark side and we should learn to curb it before it consumes all that is within.. just like in the bleach anime series.. ichigo had a hollow in him which he was still trying to control and use its power. though i still ike the black spidey suit that's cool, arrogant and the slightly evil twin of the friendly neighbourhood, spiderman!!

speaking of camp!! felicia chin came to my camp for filming 2 weeks back but i was in gedong for driving.. drats.. didn't get to see her.. some of my friends who didn't went get to see her..

but a bit weird.. a captain with jungle confidence course badge. she's too cute to be a toughie.. haha..

on ya, nice chilling session last mon and it's nice to see everybody great and doin so well.. =)

one last thingy.. let's all help to save the environment.. use less air con and instead use fans for an alternative.. try to use less plastic bags.. switch off fans and lights when not in use.. some people might think that others are not doing it so what effect is there if i'm the only one doing it.. that's precisely the point why nothing gets done!! so we should all do our little part in giving back to the environment for the environment have provided us with so much stuffs. with the power of so many little efforts, it would be an eventual success!!

back to camp again tonight.. but don't worry..will be back on tues night!! more gym sessions, hair cuts and clubbing next week.. though i feel clubbing is not a very good hobby to keep. =/
