went for the rehearsals for cdf parade for the first two days of the previous week.. played rugby for the armour formation on wednesday.. won navy at a score of 28-0.. it's really nice getting to play rugby again.. but after the match, there was so much shit.. the navy uncles were kinda violent.. one of them punched my teammate's nose and he was out and sent to the medical centre.. and we still won with 14 men.. =)

my already swollen ear became super swollen like a super buddha ear.. think somebody stepped on my face and it just expanded.. went to see the MO in camp and he refered me to SGH A&E in the afternoon and off i went after i settled all my stuff that i was supposed to do.. when i was on my way to the hospital, it was already going to be 11pm.. so i requested to stay out after the visit and it was approved.. sometimes i wondered if doing things to your best would get you the attention and everybody would take advantage and throw everything to you.. if that's the case, what's the point in doing your best you can?? sometimes i wished i wouldn't do things that well and i will lose my credibility and everybody will not have that high expectations of me and stop throwing all the work for me.. but i know it's too late.. found out from my Platoon sergeant that i am one of the contenders of the next platoon sergeant after he leaves.. now that's bad..

the doctor concluded it to be the abrasion of the helmet with the back of my ear and a cyst was just inside.. he gave me medicine and asked me to come back 2 weeks later so see if it's better.. if not, i would need to cut and drain out the juice via a mini operation.. =/

thanks to everyone for the concern.. after i was back, it was back to rehearsals for the traffic control for the pop parade of the recruits.. i was stationed at yew tee mrt and was supposed to usher the parents, friends and relatives to the pick up point where there are shuttle buses to pick and drop them off at camp..

went to watch 300 on friday.. it's a dam nice show.. PREPARE FOR GLORY!! the 300 men were courageous and had no fear in them.. all they wanted to do was to defend their land and eradicate their enemies..

sometimes i was reminded of the rugby matches played when i watch this show.. about going all out and no fear and stuffs.. there was supposed to be another crucial match next week against the combat engineers but i doubt i can play.. but this rugby in charge guy insisted i should play and the ear can be covered so it's okay.. i know they are short of players and they need the numbers so they insisted me to play.. i was thinking if it were my old team mates, i wondered if they would want me to play.. like what mr jm said, would you rather be a smart coward or a stupid hero?? what he said makes sense and i think i can't play as i got MC for swollen eye.. must be some infection sustained during the match last week.. =/

through the rehearsals, the traffic control of the pop parade was a success.. witnessed the pop parade of the recruits.. the throwing and flinging of their jockey caps just reminded me of my recruit's times.. those were the most memorable times of the army life, some might say and i totally agree with it..
