finally graduated from artillery institute as a 3rd sergeant from the pioneer batch of the MTC course.. In the beginning, we would all want it to end. But in the end, you want it to start all over again.. it was a enjoyable and fun time we had there not mentioning the tough and rigorous training we went through.. gonna report to the same old kranji camp tomorrow..
for everyone's information, i'm going to armour and not staying at artillery.. i've came across the course results and i've found out that i'm 5th in the whole course.. that's not bad already.. though the top 3 will get silver and golden bayonets.. but who cares as long i try my best.. and i got to find out it's not that my results are bad that i got posted to armour.. on the other hand my results are good so i got to go to the armour unit as the sergeant from armour chose me to become one of the four vehicle commanders.. he told me and two of my friends that we are being chosen to be platoon sergeant candidates.. =/
oh man, i wouldn't want to be a platoon sergeant.. i would have to do reservist for 5 extra cycles in future.. pray i don't get chosen.. so til then i'll be washing tanks, caterpillar cars and other vehicles til the recruits come in june..
i wanna thank all my fellow course mates, instructors and not forgetting my sergeant major who let me off yesterday for a press release of my final year project.. went to tampines mall's 1A curry pok stall.. reporters from lian he zao bao and the sp full stop newspaper came.. asked us about the project and stuff.. took a lot of photos and also made a new friend.. she's tracy.. the eldest daughter of the boss of 1A curry pok.. she was a graduate from sp and she's like 24 and she's helping her dad with the family business as a manager or something.. it was interesting hearing her talk about the entrepreneur story of her dad.. by the way the official release of the chocolate/cheese curry pok is on the 9th of febuary.. it's kinda like a promotion for valentine's day.. everyone should go try it.. though it's kinda big and you'll get tired of it when you eat too much so i suggest couples should buy it to share.. i think it's at $3.90 for 2.. definitely worth the price.. but i would prefer it to be like those i made for my project.. the mini version of curry pok.. like the cornetto mini ice cream in contrast to the cornettos of original size..
sometimes i would also like to help out in the family business but i know nuts about business and carrying on the family business is indeed a great challenge.. gotta go back to unit tomorrow.. and here comes the driving test again.. arghz.. i don't have much confidence in passing it but i'll try my best..
in the process of registration of the university application.. hope it'll be successful.. be back on weekends again.. Study well for those taking exams and also not forgetting to set aside adequate time for relaxing.. =)
