this week was indeed a fast week after a long holiday.. as usual.. maintaining the mortar caterpillar car and learn about its system.. other than that nothing much.. kinda have some good news here.. i've been chosen to become an instructor.. well, 8 people were selected but only 3 people will become one after all thsoe selections.. here comes my chance to escape from armour unit.. the mud, sand and the grease.. =/ then i would get to stay at artillery.. =) haha.. but not everyone will get a chance to be one.. because only quite zai people would be chosen to stay back and teach what we've learnt to the next batch.. i said yes! to the offer.. hope i get to stay back..
good news over.. bad news was that i just came back from weekend guard duty.. 24 hours.. sad.. saturday morning to sunday morning.. prowled around the camp 8 times while doing for 2 hours and resting for 4 hours shifts.. quite tiring.. fortunately, the guard commander was my own course sergeant.. haha.. therefore there's only 1 turn out.. phew..
though that's the bad thing about guard duty.. but i realised something.. when you look at some bad things in a different point of view, you'll get to see some good in the bad.. guard duty kinda helped to give more space and time for me and kinda cut myself from the outside world or rather the so called reality.. i would use the time to think through stuffs and reflect on things.. it wasn't that bad after all..
gotta go back to camp now.. sighz.. though it was a short weekend but i'll be back on friday again.. hurhur.. take care everyone and for those people that started school, enjoy !! =))
