well, on thursday, i went for my first day in work.. telemarketing.. the people there are very nice.. easy to get along with, nice to talk to but just that the work gets kinda boring once in a while.. actually i would prefer work to be on the move.. such as moving goods, becoming a zoo keeper or even refereeing matches..

my first project required me to call various airports around the world to tell them to come for a seminar about the airport transport systems and stuffs.. i called indonesia which i didn't know what they are saying.. i think the only melayu i could speak was 'aper ini'.. haha.. but some of them could speak english so it wasn't that bad..

next i got to call the australia and new zealand.. all i could say was that the people there are super damn friendly.. haha.. even if they reject you they will do it in a very polite way and they really did paid attention to what you're gonna say instead of just slamming the phone on you.. nice peeps there.. that's what we, most people in this region do not have.. that politeness and friendliness.. i mean even if you're not interested, you could've reject the person in a nicer manner rather than screaming and say 'NO' and slamming the phone..

other than that, i called the thais too.. very polite also but this time was worse.. nobody knew how to speak english and the people's names were damn hard to pronouce.. lolx.. but it worked out fine for me after some time..

received a call from jen and bel in the afternoon to go chill when i was working.. but cannot pick up phone.. later tio scold how? haha.. in the end never go because ah boy's not back yet and i'm gonna knock off from work at 6pm.. eventually, went to eat with some fellow ruggers at marina..

we all ate seoul garden.. the 7 of us.. jim, bryden, wilson, francis, chong, hermann and me.. it was very enjoyable to eat with them.. it was so funny throughout.. talked about the team and the 'JT' issue which we always laughed about.. lolx.. oh ya, we were planning to go down to school this coming thursday for training and see how the year 1s are doing.. heard this year our team are quite strong too!! that's really something to be happy about..

on my way home, i thought about this group of pals of mine.. i really feel appreciated.. they really treated me like a good buddy!! learnt to appreciate people more after a lesson learnt.. i think i gotta keep improving and appreciate my friends more!! well, i'm still learning to be better in it!!

celebrated my grandma's 63rd birthday on sat.. we ate and then cut cake for her.. and she say she's too old for this.. but we insisted!! off went the lights and on came the birthday song.. it was a fun affair la..

but got bad news also.. my cousin's caught by police for illegal possession of ciggerettes.. that's bad.. but how could they charge a little kid.. i mean he's like just 15.. heard if convicted he might end up in jail.. dammit.. and from what i knew, that pack of ciggerettes weren't his but his friend's.. that's kinda unfortunate.. well, i'll see how it goes.. all i can do now is to pray for him and hope he'll learn his lesson and not hang out with some of his 'bad company'

i know those are his friends and i can't just judge them without knowing them and calling them 'bad company' but from all the stuffs that i heard from my grandma i can say that they are a bad lot.. grandma's kinda upset about it and let's hope this cousin of mine to be enlightened soon..

played soccer and basketball on sunday and my foot kept getting the sharp pains.. i think i really need the acupuncture real bad to remove all that bad blood.. alright, i admit i love acupuncture.. i know this's kinda crazy and no person would like a 3 inch needle to poke them but it really alleviates my pain and it's 'shiok' haha.. actually i'm afraid of tickleness than pain.. lolx.. =p

took my driving test today.. well, i passed!! NOT!! haha.. had 30 demerit points and 2 immediate failures.. hm.. well, the demerit points started when i was doing the vertical parking.. i used the same method my instructor told me but i just couldn't get in.. i don't know why..

from then on, eveything seems to fall apart.. i forgot to engage first gear on slope but luckily it didn't roll back that much.. then out on the road i almost hit a taxi while changing lane, stopped too near a van and a lot of stuffs weren't properly done.. oh ya, i picked one of the hardest test routes.. route no.6.. teck whye road!! oh man.. that place's a terror with so many cars.. my aunt failed the first time as she got that route via balloting too.. but i have no reason to blame on the test route.. if i was good, no matter how hard the test route was, i would've made it..

actually i was kinda grateful that i got such a friendly tester.. i mean he's just like any nice grandpa you'll see around.. he helped me along the way.. i mean like he told me to do this and that and he was kinda worried for me like that.. nevertheless, he still told me all the mistakes that i've done in a nice way after that.. really appreciated that because i saw some people's testers reprimanded them as they made their way into the room.. i mean the person feels bad enough already and do you have to rub it in? that tester's name is called chong!! it was kinda a familair name, isn't it?? it's one of my rugby pals' name.. so i was laughing at the name when i saw that tester's name..

well, i wasn't that sad when i knew i failed.. maybe i saw it coming.. i knew i wasn't up to the mark as yet but i still tried.. looks like i'm gonna try getting that pesky license again.. i'm just glad it's over.. i don't care about the result.. what's important most is the process.. now i can stop worrying about it for the time being and go for acupuncture on my sore foot and start looking for a job now.. now i know the real meaning of the greatest enemy is thy self.. i guess i gotta cross that self-barrier before i can get the things right.. by the way, rugby seems easier to play than driving afterall!! =p

now there's another problem arising.. the next nearest test date is in july.. remember i'm enlisting to tekong chalet on july 7th? there's only slots left for 8th, 10th and 11 july.. dam.. and now i know the real meaning of everything happens for a reason.. my registration with the driving centre expires on the 7th july.. and it's the same date as the enlistment date.. that means for sure, i'm gonna renew it again!! arghz.. i'll see about that soon..

though i didn't make it but i gotta thank all the people for their encouragement and support.. thanks to my mom and dad for their continuos support, encouragement, their prayings for me.. everyone who wished me luck - jm, ym, gab, sharon, yh, kiap and my uncle eric who passed it a month ago when his license was suspended due to drink driving.. lolx.. not forgetting dt who talked to me about it.. haha.. thanks to everyone for everything if i've forgotten you.. don't worry so much about me.. i'm alright.. don't sound as if i'm so depressed that i'm gonna die.. but i am just a bit disppointed.. just like that day we lost to combined ITE during the rugby competition and our title hopes were kinda dashed.. but in the end still get second place.. haha.. so i guess, it's not the end but the beginning..

it was i forgot when since when i played soccer with my brother the other time.. i remembered the last time we played together was during our primary school days.. it was because after that our everyday schedule was so different and we had different sets of friends to play soccer with and thus not playing with/against each other..

yesterday was a once in a million years since we played soccer together.. it was fun.. i mean it was a good teamwork and effort upfront.. i dare say we make a formidable strike force in the front.. we made attacking look so easy and terrorising.. it was similar to the neville brothers playing for Manchester United but the only difference was that they were from the defence department..

all i can say is that hope to play again soon.. because i know he'll cover my ass and i'll cover his and we shall wreck havoc to people's defences.. haha.. i'm not trying to be haolian here but when you're playing with a blood related person, you really know and read what he's gonna do and that makes everything a lot easier..

found out that one of my brother's friends just went to sp and joined sp rugby.. i am like a senior to him now.. haha.. all the best to him.. train hard for the team!! =)

driving today was alright.. all the courses and parkings were carried out without flaws.. but the driving outside the road was terrible.. why am i like that?? on some days, i am good on the road outside and bad on the courses and vice versa.. why can't i just get things right.. i mean be good on both the outside road and the parkings..

i've finished my last training.. tomorrow's the test.. it would be a surprise if i pass tomorrow.. although all seems bleak, i'm gonna do it.. i believe i can.. let's just nail it.. i'm gonna need all the lucks and all the prayers from everyone.. please pray for me and pray i don't hit anything tomorrow.. haha.. =p

alright, who's this mr. smiley? it's one of my driving instructors.. although he's always smiling at me like an idiot but he's not actually smiling in that good sense.. he's full of sacarsm, dammit.. everytime when i got to the driving centre to print the paper to see which of the 4 instructors in my group i would get and when i get him, i knew i would hit everything i see.. he just stresses me out and when i hit anything he would just smile and do nothing to rectify my problem.. i didn't get this problem with the other instructors.. i could sense his deep sacarsm when he smiles and that gives me the shudder.. *eeks*

i could have hit him with a cranium basher and make him see stars but i am afterall the apprentice and him the teacher.. respect your teacher.. well, he's just using reverse psychology on me, i guess.. well, i am telling ya.. it's working on me.. i am getting better and better outside the road as the day goes by.. just that i kept hitting things during parking.. =p

went to sentosa to tan, swim and to play basketball.. ended up with a sore back, feet and sore head.. ate chicken rice in the rain.. it was so survivor-like.. we were in a shelter but it was so cold in the rain and the rain was splashing in even though there was a roof above our heads.. after that went to see that musical fountain.. it's wasn't that fun la.. a bit boring but i dare say that's enough to set all the tourists go 'WoW' and their cameras snapping and filming..

after that went to pastamania for dinner and to celebrate xiao xiang birthday.. oh man, another person just turned 20.. no more teenage years.. sighz.. slowly, it'll b my turn soon.. then it'll make me feel as if i'm an ah pek.. so sorry i didn't make any cake.. was planning of making an oreo cheesecake but i'm in sentosa and if i brought the cake along it would have melted.. so i guess next time bahz.. went snapping photos around harbourfront and headed home after that.. drivin tomorrow, again~ really got phobia driving.. dam.. 2 more lessons to go to driving test.. really, really need a miracle on that day.. *cross fingers* again and again..

gotta find a full time job after that pesky driving.. if only i was as enthusiastic in driving as i was in playing soccer.. haha.. then i'm sure to pass it well.. it's not that i have no confidence but i really drove like shiet.. even the instructor said that.. kinda demoralising.. but i'm gonna try no matter what!!

it was a sunday mornin few days back.. went to play soccer again.. a sport i played since i was a baby.. haha.. so inspired by the Play Beautifully Campaign.. skills, heart, honour, joy and team spirit. here's what it's all about - http://www.youtube.com/watch v=jispSNXH518&search=joga%20bonito decided to try to play beautifully too.. it was hard but i tried.. was actually bad in the air with headers but managed to bag in 2 funny headers and one using my back.. i didn't even bother to stand inside the box to try to head the last time.. luck was important, i guess.. though not everyday was a sunday.. satisfied with my play nonetheless.. believeing in yourself works.. well, most of the time.. lolx..

after that headed down to yihang's house to celebrate gabriel's birthday.. well, we ate pizza.. some baked rice and some other pizza and drank vodka.. it was kinda simple compared to other peeps' birthday celebration.. was supposed to go to sentosa but.. there were problems and i don't want to talk about it.. my mud cake was kinda dry though the taste was alrite.. hm.. it must be due to the cocoa powder as it will absorb liquid! pics from the party to be shown some time soon..

sent karen and jianming home in yh's car before heading out for supper again.. went to holland village but all were closing.. oh ya, there was the match.. Man Utd Vs ARSEnal.. well, when i got there it was still half time 0-0 and when we were leaving i heard screams of Gooooaaaal!! i told them, rooney's the scorer.. have faith in him.. in the end it's really him.. haha.. Man U won 2-0 in the end.. =)

reached home kinda late and was about to watch the recorded superband.. but it was not recorded.. dam.. oh well, nvm.. the band that i am rooting for is lucify and they got through anyway.. they are so like good charlotte.. their music's not bad too.. though i find them good but i am not taking part in any voting.. =p

went to Republic Polytechnic on monday to collect the acadaemic transcript of yiming.. the trip to woodlands was torturous, i should say.. the building strecture of RP is cool.. but it's like you needa take a 15 to 20 minutes walk from woodlands mrt station before you can smell the campus.. now that sux.. after that headed down to causeway point to find pressie for yh's fren who came from thailand.. it was my ever first time to step inside causeway point.. it was Big but there was nothing much there.. kinda a boring place.. headed home after buyin all the pressies..

there was a big rain yesterday morning.. practically slept the whole morning before going out to meet jianming and ah boy to the so called new zealand's embassy to get all the tourist information brochures for ah boy's sis.. so cool.. can go new zealand.. the island of the all blacks.. haha.. i wonder if the all blacks jersey there is cheap because those sold in town are just so expensive..

headed down to funan to reset jm's maple password.. alright.. i m going to complain about this.. playing games - maple expecially.. he's been glued to the computer monitor after he's awaken, then he goes eating then sleeping.. after that the cycle continues.. that's bad.. it's just like he revolves around the game.. sometimes, i think he even forgoes the sleep time just to play.. sighz.. play, play, play.. sleep, eat, play, sleep, eat, play.. i got nothing against this game but i find that people don't just play it for fun.. it's like they live just to play it and become more powerful in the game.. that defeats the purpose in life and like i've said there are much more meaningful stuffs out there for us to do then to be glued on the computer for like more than 12 hours per day? although this matter is kinda none of my business but i wanna justify my point and save this pal of mine from Addiction.. it's kinda scary.. just like pringles.. once u pop, u can't stop.. i know i'm being a busybody because it's every person's choice to do what they want but i just want my friends to kinda change this bad habit and i know this is gonna be good for them..

playing for fun is fine with me.. i mean playing in moderation will be a much healthier option.. hope these words of mine can wake people up from the cyberworld..

went down to school to play touch today.. long time since i've touched the ball.. it rocks to be grazing out there in the field.. ran and got chased, defended and chased too.. fun.. bad thingy was that the sun was kinda big.. scorchin sun.. melted just playing two matches as fitness was bad.. went lunch in school with jim, chong and shawn.. talked about our 'great chalet' coming in june and july.. haha.. and we promised to go out once every month after enlistment.. that's just so dang cool.. i like that..

driving test coming and i pray a miracle will come my way.. *fingers crossed*

alrite.. i'm gonna enlist to island tekong on the 7th of july 2006.. to me it's a great and bad news.. alrite.. good news or bad news first? hm.. i think more people would prefer to eat the yucky celery and green peas before moving on to the main course right? so here comes the bad news..

bad news is that i m gonna miss the finals of the world cup.. that sacred event that is only held every 4 years.. the finals is on the 9th.. dam.. and only i enlist a few days later, i would be able to catch it.. sighz.. i wonder if there is any tv on tekong.. lolx.. bring a mobile 1?? haha..

another one would be that my birthday might be celebrated inside.. though it's on a saturday la.. but scully need to stay back guard duty.. CHOY!! haha.. but come to think of it, not much people will remember i guess..

but do not despair.. there is still some goodies to be glad about.. for example, at least i get to keep my hair on graduation day when i go back to school to get my diploma.. haha.. grad's on 5th of july.. so after keeping that mane for extra 2 days, it's gonna be all gone!! haha..

july 7th.. double 7.. does that means i will b extra lucky? well, perhaps.. i think i will be treated well inside.. i think it's just a chalet that's kinda fun..

another good reason to rejoice is that the date's not too far and not too near.. sufficient time to enjoy and rest while not requiring me to wait damn long before my turn comes.. lolx..

last but not least, i will get a bit more time than those peeps in june in the outside world.. i'd get to spend more time with my family, pals and everyone.. birthdays, gatherings, chillings, eatings, buffets, soccer sessions..

oh man, i am so gonna miss all the good food out here.. maybe i should smuggle some food inside.. haha..

here's my first maiden post and i am gonna talk about what did i actualli do the previous 5 weekdays.. on the first day, went to breekos to hang out with sharon with the peeps.. because she was going to Japan, the Land where the Sun nevers sets and it was like a sending off dinner for her.. ordered chicken nuggets, fries, onion rings, calamari rings, prawn rolls.. almost puked.. ate so much oily food.. it was kinda bad but fortunately, i drank 800ml of yoghurt previously so it was not that bad i guess.. haha..

on the second day, went to eat sakae sushi with captain jimmy, hermann the ninja, shawn n chong.. before that, we went to a XboX lan shop inside the MRT station in PS.. Played the street soccer game and it was so dam fun.. scored quite a couple of goals though i was kinda noob in it.. it's really a game that could connect people together.. like for example, when a goal is scored or an easy goal was missed, we'd all go Awwww..

the eating session was very enjoyable.. ate all sorts of sushi.. then we recapped about the past future and present.. past was about the days we had while we were in the rugby team.. haha.. all the blood and sweatsocks, not forgeting tears of joy.. also the stripping session done to JT.. that really left a deep impression on every SP Rugger who went for the malaysia trip last fall.. it was even more memorable for me, coz my fellow brothers celebrated my birthday and i was the bait for JT before he was massacred.. =B present was more on what are we actually doing nowadays.. no1 was holding any part time jobs.. all are slacking before going to army.. future's about when are we going to serve the nation.. chong's getting in for 26 weeks BMT.. OMG.. all the best to him and may he have fun.. lolx.. some of the remaining peeps are goin in this june and some, like me did not receive any news as yet.. after that went to the airport to send sharon off to Japan.. Bon Voyage and enjoy your trip.. remember to buy nice foods for me.. haha..

went shopping on wednesday wif Yiming to find her birthday gift for gabriel.. WOOT.. haha.. she wanna give him a photo album wif their photos inside.. romantic right?? haha.. but in the end, that idea was aborted because the photo album sold at citylink cost a bomb!! approximately 50$ *ouch* in the end got some chocolates with gab's name and i got to choose the other chocolates.. i chose the healthiest and the tastiest ones.. he's gonna love it.. lolx.. though no photo album used but the idea of using a photo frame was used instead.. haha..

went driving yesterday and i dare say it was very smooth sailing.. i DID NOT hit any shit at all.. haha.. maybe this was the instructor that gave me my confidence.. his name very easy to remember.. Chun K.S.. as we all know, chun meant accurate in hokkien and k.s on the other hand meant kill steal.. so i was reminded of games, kill steals in a very chun manner so my driving also become zai.. miracles indeed do happen.. haha.. after driving, Minghui asked me to go eat buffet and i m so glad she asked.. it was a long time since i saw my class peeps le..

went to this miramar hotel to eat a la carte buffet, chinese style.. you can order any stuffs on the menu and they would keep serving.. it's eat all you can anyway.. the food was alright.. but the service sux.. the managers and waiters/waitresses don't smile.. Where's that Greet, Smile, Thank You?? now i know why there ain't no G.E.M.S card in that restaurant.. i also told minghui to go tickle them see they will smile anotz.. lolx.. shared a lot of lame jokes with Matt, Minghui, Weijie and his cousin.. it was a very enjoyable time since dunno when.. minghui also said she had a job and she asked me to go for interview also.. taking photographs for tourists in sentosa.. 8$ per hour.. wow.. heard they need enthusiastic and bubbly people.. i guess i fit the bill.. lolx.. but we're required to work 6 days a week including weekends but i still haven't finished my driving so i guess i can't take up that job as yet.. sighz..

went bowling today.. the score was not very good because i did not get to use my own ball.. since we did not rent any locker at the alley, i need to bring the 11 poounded ball and i was lazy to do it so i used the house ball.. the spins were inconsistent as usual and the average was like only 110+.. went to tiong bahru market after that to eat chng tng, fish porridge and hokkien prawn me.. yummy.. hee.. i went to buy strawberry yoghrt drink again.. addicted.. haha..

Why is the title Joga Bonitoz? actually it's the new nike football advertisement.. it'a about people forgettin about the roots of the game.. forgettin about playing it beautifully with honour and respect.. and now this campaign is here to make sure the game is played B-E-A-Utifully again.. here's one of the pics from this campaign at the top..
