firstly Merry X'mas to all.. Christmas this year was no different from the past few years.. well maybe a slightly different.. this time with some addition of shit.. it was kinda a bad christmas.. but still christmas still comes regardless what happens..
a jovial jy wanted a count down on christmas day on orchard road.. so after sending his friend to mrt station.. i was thinking this place would be super crowded, chaotic and smelly after that.. so i suggested going to somewhere nearer to home and some place slightly more peaceful.. let's go to vivocity!!
but the other boys had bought those stupid sprays beforehand.. the sprays should be BANNED because it's like so dumb and they wanted to so called finish off the ammo before heading there.. so off they went spraying each other, blanga workers, etc.. i didn't wanna get involved in their war and i didn't even touch the sprays at all but got sprayed in the end.. but at least i was sprayed at with minimal damage..
afterwhich jy lost his phone, beloved phone after playing and the partying.. which he bought for less than 4 days.. N72.. *ouch* there goes the 600$.. really sympathised with him.. i tried calling his phone.. a first it went through but later the phone was switched off.. instead of a count down instead it became a phone hunting session at the walkway in front of the whole stretch of paragon..
lesson learnt here.. please take care of your belongings and valuables, guys.. and i know it's the festive season and everyone's in the party mood.. but still there are some stuff we must be conscious of..
back to the stupid sprays.. some of them had colour and it stains clothes.. other than that, people just threw the cans around after the cans were exhausted.. the cans almost made people trip and fell.. the sprays also made the floor slippery and i saw some gals fell down.. i bet that hurt a lot as well.. but nothing hurts as much as the cleaners' faces.. i looked at some of the uncle's faces and they were like.. i know it's their job but can't people just be a bit more considerate after the partying.. what happened to the litter-free campaign, the spirit of giving and sharing and being a nice goody person this festive season?
i ain't complaining here but just saying my point of view.. i like to have fun and partying but spraying at each other ain't the only way to have fun and stuff.. i hope shit don't happen again next week when there's celebrations for the new year.. and welcome to the ugly side of christmas at orchard road and everyone should avoid during countdowns.. =/
