condolences to those that gave their lives and those that unfortunately perished on this day 5 years ago.. on september the 11th back then.. i understand sometimes shit happens and nobody wants it to happen.. but sometimes, it's just inevitable.. knowing life is as fragile as a vase.. innocent lives were still taken away nevertheless..
hm.. heard that singapore might be a prime target because we're kinda "unbombed" as yet and those terrorisers would think they're great if they manage to hit us so we gotta stay vigilant and keep a lookout for any terrorist threat around wherever we may be..
enlisted for like 2 months already.. it's like kinda numb.. i've come face to face with reality and learnt to accept it, somehow.. sometimes, people might think why do we really need an army.. some might think what are we really defending?? when i was eating at the hawker centre the other day and i saw three toddlers aged about 4 to 5 years old smiling, running about and having fun.. that moment just struck me.. i don't know why.. that moment made me feel that my sweat was just worth it all.. what i'm training to defend for months.. now i know..
pray that more peeps ask me out for outings during this short holiday of mine and may i pass my driving test this wednesday.. =/
