here i am at jianming's house waiting for the Portugal-Holland match.. too bad my house got no scv.. my mom was afraid my siblings would be too distracted by the various tv channels and in turn neglect their school work.. Portugal's gonna win!! i have faith in them.. haha.. though they are facing the quite strong orange army aka the dutch..

soccer fever is everywhere.. and i'm sure it has invaded all our lives and impacted us in positive and negative ways, i must say.. negative meaning all the bettings by people.. i do not mean those people that bet in small amounts to support their team but those compulsive gamblers that bet with a lot of their money.. on the positive side of it, the world cup has kinda helps to boost the economy.. more business for places that show the matches.. delivery of fastfoods, etc..
personally, this is what i learnt about football.. the game of life is a lot like football.. you have to tackle your problems, block your fears and score your goals when an opportunity arises..
