went to bowl on friday.. the score's still same at an average of 110+.. actually we wanted to pay the auntie money owed for the locker that we've used for the past 3 years.. we actually paid half of it the other time.. and now we wanna pay the remaining 30 but the kind auntie said that it's alrite and refused to take our $.. how nice of her.. we'll all go and bowl there more often then to sorta like repay her kindness..
after that went down to bugis to shop around.. it was til now then i realised that there was a building for shopping opposite bugis junction.. the side with the duck rice, wanton mee, and steamboat shops.. it was like about 6 storeys with a handful of shops.. their design of the shops was simple and nice and not confusing.. there wasn't much people there as well.. i guess not much people knew about that place ba.. that building sells kinda lots of girls' stuff and less of guys'
went to eat tian tian steamboat after that.. the food was alrite.. you'll get all the non-msg soups, meatballs, prawns, thin slices of lamb and pork.. not forgetting inards such as kidneys, livers etc.. despite the good food, i thought we all paid quite a hefty sum for the food.. 24+$ per person la.. but it was worth it as the eating affair was so enjoyable due to the company.. like what i've said.. it's not what ya're eating but whom ya're eating with..
that marks the end of a good'o friday for chilling.. oh ya, saw a ad postcard on zouk.. i didn't know an entry to zouk was that cheap.. i mean cheaper than expected.. like 15 bucks with 2 drinks.. cool.. gotta head down there with some pals sometime soon.. geez..
went to the gym on a late saturday morning to kill some muscles.. after that went to eat lunch with gab and i finally found another place that sells tau sar paus with tau sar ozzing out.. OOOHHH.. tau sar paus rock.. went home to rest a while before heading down to wanyang house to help in his BBQ (p.s: had 4 BBQs in like these 2 weeks.. need to chomp on some cucumbers to remove the toxins.. =/)
i couldn't recognise his house and i almost overshot and went further inside.. he added a pool to his small garden.. and he said he helped his dad do all that.. was really wowed by all that because i thought it was done by a contractor.. helped to light up those torches that you'll get to see in survivor with kerosene and i became very flammable after that as i got spilled by kerosene.. haha.. only 10 people turned up la.. all like last minute cannot make it.. very de bad huh..
help started the fire and cooking.. this time the food bought was just nice.. managed to finish it.. met a few new friends of wanyang's.. nice peeps.. ate, chilled and talked cock til about 11 plus before alvin drove me to bus stop and i headed home after that.. all the best to wanyang for his BMT next week.. don't worry.. i'll b joining you all in a months' time.. haha..
slacked the whole day today.. because it was kinda raining.. rain, rain, rain.. it really sucks to have such a weather on a lovely sunday.. actually wanna go learn make dumplings aka ba zhang from my grandma at bukit gombak but before i could go down and become an apprentice, she's already done.. so i gotta wait for the next few years before i can learn due to army la..
the dumplings she made were dam nice.. the pork, chestnuts, shrimps and mushrooms.. yummy.. really must learn soon.. well, got another bad news la.. my another grandma living near me is kinda showing symptoms of stroke.. that's very deadly.. fortunately, it was detected early and now she's receiving medical treatment and let's pray she'll recover in no time..
i also found out that i love to play those brain teaser games.. sudoku is dam fun i tell ya.. after you finish you'll have that sense of achievement and you will also feel a bit smarter and that that will lead to a bit more confidence in yourself.. but like what my friend pk had said, you'll really 数到哭 (count til you cry in chinese aka su dao ku..) sometimes.. haha..
