Thanks to everybody who did their part for making my birthday celebration so enjoyable!! Happy 25th birthday, quarter centurian!! =D
Work has been kinda busy lately as we hit the 3rd quarter of the year. After undergone many planning sessions in the first two quarters (i presume), it's time to come up with new products!!
And that is where my workload starts to pile up with every company getting back to us to run trials for various products. Running trials and making the products are fun but if there are too much trials, it'll be like a total war.. However, I have managed to schedule it and finish bit by bit so it's not that bad..
Sometimes, you'll be drop dead at the end of the day with other evaluation jobs and reports to write up. Nevertheless it still gives me a high level of job satisfaction and i can really feel that my company really does values its staff.
Take example of the ice cream course which i went to 2 weeks ago. It was about the same as what i learnt in school but more in depth and i really learnt so much more. Going on courses is fun but when you get back to work the next week, everything's gonna pile waiting for you. However, it's worth it because sometimes i really miss lectures back in school..
Besides work, i have also been catching up on the SupeRugby matches. Actually i am rooting for all the NZ teams in the competition but my favourite is the Blues. The crusaders play very well too. So do the Highlanders, Chiefs and Hurricanes. So whichever NZ team is playing against other teams from Australia or South Africa, I would want them to win. =)
My training regime was started since the poly days and i am carrying it out til this day. Maybe it's a sign to go back to a sport which i missed playing and only watch it on tv now. Hope that after some of my teammates get back from their studies overseas, we can join a club and be in competitions again!

Work has been fun and yet challenging as well.. learning to use all sorts of equipment, meeting all kinds of clients and answering all kinds of queries. It is indeed challenging but fun nonetheless. i get to deal with so many products and it will really add value to my experience. Not forgetting to mention that the people around are also very nice. Guess i will be staying around for some time. =)
General elections are coming soon and it is the first time that many of my peers have the power to vote. The power has finally come to the people of our age. I really admire the people in opposition willing to step out and stand by what they believe in and oppose some of the current policies in the country. This time round, there are SO many of them whom are scholars, doctors and lawyers. It will be an exciting GE indeed.
No doubt our government is doing well but there will still be some flaws. With more opposition, the debate in parliament will be taken to a whole new level. I can really see that the campaigning is heating up. May the best win and win in a clean manner. Hope we don't end up like Real Madrid and Barcelona whereby there are so many controversy with all the play-acting and diving in the match. Vote wisely and responsibly for our future as well as to represent the young ones who can't vote as yet.

After working for slightly more than 2 months, i felt that there is actually sooooo much stuffs to learn. It really suck to not being able to answer questions asked by other people. Although, i am not supposed to know everything but still it is not a very good excuse.
Well, at least i answered most of the questions that i know and moreover, i am considered a newbie and still have so much more to learn. Working is indeed fun but also not mentioning that it is quite tiring. However, i have to be grateful that my current job is like a 90% lock-key match to what i was doing in school.
I swore upon that day when the next time somebody asks me a question relating to work, i will be proficient by then and give my best shot in answering queries.
The encouragement which Prof. Winger gave us before he left is what makes me strive to be better than yesterday's me.
May strength be bestowed on our institution whom once gave us so much and made us to be what we are today.
